Mike Babneau

Mike Babneau is the Associate Director of Portfolio Management in Research & Development projects at Upsher-Smith. He manages a team of 7 project managers working on everything from new product development to lifecycle management.  Having worked for various organizations such as Department of Defense, Sports Illustrated, Carlson Travel Group, Radisson Hotels, American Express and Pharmaceutical companies he has spent the better part of his career managing projects under precise deadlines to meet stake holders’ goals, deliver project within scope, resources, maximizing capacity, availability, while reducing pinch points, eliminating capacity constraints and challenges.

Having spent the past 10 plus years in R&D projects for new product development at Upsher Smith his role is primarily focused on quantifying resource planning and viewing resource initiatives.  A graduate of St. Cloud State University, he resides in greater Minneapolis area with his wife and 3 children.
