Dr. Shelley Reciniello, Organizational Consultant, Executive Coach, Author: The Conscious Leader

Dr. Shelley Reciniello has spent her 35 year career determined “to give psychology away,” by demystifying psychological and psychoanalytic principles, and providing people and organizations with thoughtful, practical information and methods to change their lives. Since 1982, she has provided organizational consultation, leadership development, executive coaching, employee assistance programs, and many other corporate services through her two companies SRA – Shelley Reciniello, Ph. D and Associates (1982-2002) and later SRA Consultations (2002-2014). Long-term clients included Morgan Stanley, First Boston, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, as well as many other diverse organizations such as Avon, divisions of Exxon, Eastman Kodak, General Electric, in national and global locations.  Today Dr. Shelley, as she is popularly known, works closely with senior management, boards of directors, human resources, and diversity departments to provide organizational consultation, executive coaching, and senior leadership programs to a wide variety of businesses including fashion and luxury goods, finance, education, journalism, law, technology, pharmaceuticals, entertainment, and the arts.

Based in New York City, Dr. Shelley consults with organizations and executives throughout the United States, in Europe, and in Asia. She has appeared on television and radio, web interviews, webinars and podcasts, and is often quoted in a wide variety of websites and publications including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, CEO Magazine, Elle, and the Reuters international publications network. She is a frequent speaker and workshop presenter to diverse organizations on psychological topics, in particular, leadership, the psychology of the workplace, creating conscious cultures, and her goals are to inform, assist, entertain and inspire.

Her book, The Conscious Leader: 9 Principles and Practices to Create a Wide-awake and Productive Workplace, was named a Finalist by USA Best Books of 2014, was the Winner in the Career category of the 2015 Next Generation Indie Book Awards, was the Winner of the Best Business Book at the 2015 New York Book Festival, and was named2nd place Winner, Best Business Book, bythe Colorado Independent Publishers Association.  The Conscious Leader has recently been translated into Spanish.
